Hello and Welcome

Update (2026-09-01) - MTM2 Community Patch #3 is here!

It lives! 9 years after the last patch, it's here!

This patch has fulfilled the goal that was set back in 2016, which was to bring the game to modern video renderers and thus increase FPS and reliability. In the process, more and more bells and whistles have tagged along for the ride.

The game now allows for HD art to be used in tracks and trucks. This is early stages and tutorials are non existing. All the authoring tools that are needed are already available in the forum. Over the next few days, the website will be updated with the latest versions and latest information.

There is just too much to talk about in terms of the features that have been added, crashes that have been fixed etc. The main thing to say is... the work is not done and new updates will come soon to push the game even further.

But in the meantime, you can check out the official Community Patch #3 page here and make sure to post in the forum if you run into any trouble.
Update (2026-08-26) - Site Update done 95%

Wait, didn't we just have one of these at the beginning of the year?

Yes... somewhat. That was a migration to a new server that was sorely needed. This was a massive facelift done in preparation for Community Patch #3. While the look has not changed drastically, as it was indended, behind the scenes the site is almost unrecognizable. For the better.

In the coming weeks things still need to be updated. With the upcoming release of Comm Patch #3, modern tools or updated tools have been released and they need a proper place on the website. They are all accessible in the forum already but not so on the website.

Stay tuned for more.
Update (2026-05-21) - Migration completed

In the past week a few gremlins came out of hiding to throw a wrench or two in the migration process. Thankfully those gremlins have been chased away and the website is now working as intended and with this, we feel confident to say that the migration process is over.

The old server will now be shutdown. There is an offline backup in case something goes amiss but we doubt it will be needed.

Moving forward, if anyone finds any issues make sure you post in the forum. Registrations are open again for as long as we successfully avoid the spambots.

In the coming months, some tweaks are going to be added to the website. There's no timeline nor a clear vision on what those tweaks will be but they will slowly be worked on (such as allowing users to upload their own screenshots to the track page ala what people can already do for the truck page, increase the picture size/resolution limit which has already been relaxed btw and perhaps looked into incorporating Kmaster's nifty online truck viewer into the website).
Update (2026-05-10) - Migration almost complete

The migration to the new server is almost fully complete.

There are some quirks to be worked out still, apologies for that. One of the quirks is that there is an issue with the login to the forum. There's is a post about it, so check out the forum (you can see it without logging in) and hopefully it provides a fix for you.

In other news, an adaptation of the old theme has been finalized. Check your forum user preference for Smart Dark 3.
Update (2026-04-29) - Ongoing migration

The website has been moved to a new server. Work is ongoing to get everything working.

It is taking longer than expected but the good news nothing has been lost.

The forum also underwent a change to newer software. However settings have changed from the previous version of the forum so registration has been temporarily disabled until we have time to look into it and make whatever changes are necessary.

If you come across any broken links that you want quickly fixed, please make a post about it in the forum.
