HyperRamble:

    AUTHOR: MonstaDriva (aka Scott Davies)
HOME: www.davies.org (a lame little site)
TRACK TYPE: The first Moving Rumble/Rally track! I call it a RAMBLE.

IMPORTANT!: Pod this track above SOUND.POD in the POD.INI file unless
you love train whistles. All the moving objects will deafen
             you if you don't.

OBJECT: The game scores as a rumble and is based as all rumbles are
by the amount of time spent on the platform earning points.
Rumble on the moving train platform for approx. 4 minutes
then exit to the right at the provided exit sign. You then
run a Rally lasting 3+ minutes back to the loading area to
get back on the platform. This cycle continues as time
             permits.

HINTS: This is not your typical rumble or rally. I generally split
the settings to work for both sections. Rumbling on bin
models is almost like rumbling on snow or ice. Remember
that both sections of the track are important.

Turn on the track map. You don't get a outline of the rally
track, but is useful in locating other drivers.

Rumble in front! The moving train does not "carry" you if
you are not moving. It is always moving forward. It is in
your favor to be in front (direction the train is moving) of
             the other guy.

    KNOWN
PROBLEMS: 1. There are no Choppers in Rumble tracks. Be careful. I
have deliberately set traps to punish anyone straying far
from the course. There are no shorts...

             2. Sync Problem. If someone freezes or has bad latency
they may experience a "time distortion" where they appear
to others to be driving up in the air. Others will appear
to do the same to this individual. They are on the train
in a different "time". (didn't know time travel was
possible in mtm did ya? *grin*). Nothing can be done
about this one. If it bugs you, don't race with laggers.

             3. Ramp disappears sometimes when more than half way up.
This seems to be another "feature" of mtm. When driving on
bins that have been tilted (let along moving while tilted)
you fall through on the top half and they disappear.
(note: for anyone attempting something like this, the ramps
are actually invisible bins that are twice the length of
             the actual ramp i wanted)

             4. I'm sure there are others... If it appears to be a
problem that can be fixed, I'd like to hear from you.
Please, no problems like "i got stuck in your damn game
while trying to search for a shortcut!"... if it hurts,
             don't do that. *wink*

THANKS: Thanks go to those late nighters that downloaded
and tested a track that didn't even function, and the
few that actually saw the thing work. Bolweval, Bahamut, Chucklez, IONOONE, TUX, slopokeski, and all the rest of you I have forgotten.

COPYRITE: You may fold, spindle, and mutilate any portion of this track.
My request is that you simply give any notice due and ask
before taking. I look forward to seeing if this sparks
some ideas to those creative track makers in mtm land.
