Duality is a small scale concept track for MTM2.

The idea was to create a track with two completely separate
courses that shared the same checkpoints, made in such a way
that both courses/racers would remain in view of one another.

The idea came in July 2005, at which time I spent a couple of
days sketching out a mirrored terrain in Traxx and visualizing
how it might be developed to completion, then sat it aside.
In February 2010 I resumed work on it for several days, creating
what I'd envisioned years before. Still unfinished, I sat it aside again.
I finally wrapped it up in January 2011, only because it was closer
to completion than any of my other, larger unfinished projects.
Still, the final polishing phase took much longer than I anticipated,
with a lot of time spent tweaking the model positioning in TrackEd3.

I originally intended to texture each half differently and perhaps
even create different terrain features for each half, but for the sake
of speed and simplicity I created a mirrored course using a very simple
texturing scheme. Using tiers and a long, narrow course that doubles
back on itself was necessary for a usable checkpoint scheme, and
while the layout is simple it should provide for some challenging racing.
Being equal, either course can be used at any time during a race.

Alert: I'm sorry to report that the "Have mark increase box count!" error
is possible on this track when seven or eight trucks are in the right spot.

 God bless,

 Revelation 21:1-7

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven
and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from
God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle
of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be
his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be
any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst
of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall
inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
