STEP TWO - Preparing the working area

Winterkill has provided us with an 8x8x60x480.gif image to use as a basis for template making.

We could use just the upper 120x120 portion of it (or other combinations of squares), but this is already made and very convenient. So, we will use it.

Create a 960x960 square and fill it with wk's graphic. It will look like the following.
