**CRAZY '98 2003**

by RobbyH14

Well, it's finally done...Crazy '98 2003. This was originally planned to be and started as my very first track, but then I learned to make drags and kinda left this in the background, working on it in between projects and when I needed a break. So now, it's my very first circuit *beams with pride*, although 90% of the community doesn't seem to care for anything but a replica drag anymore, I am aiming for the relative minority of the people at KC's and all those SLO and circuit-racing people. Anyway, this is created and finished up for the 2003 MTMG EXPO, which I am a judge in, but judges are allowed to contribute too, and I needed to get this off my hard drive after starting work on it well over a year ago.

I put literally hundreds of hours into this beast, and I am pleased with how it turned out. Leave your snotty comments at the door if you have any, please. I can take constructive criticism, but no arrogance at least on this one. Anyway, I'm rambling now. Here's the important information. This is supposed to be themed as a sequel to MTM2's stock "Crazy '98" track, so I kept a lot of the stock stuff, but the layout and track design is totally mine and different. I found what worked best for me on this short circuit track was 1700 gear, soft suspension, and medium tires. In testing the last version of this before release, my fastest timed lap was a 1:12.25. Thanks go out to the following people for beta-testing an early version of this thing and giving me much-needed tips:
Bigdogge
Phineus
Malibu350
Replica Fan

Thanks guys, it helps to have help from some of the very best ;-). I did my best with the computer trucks; if you mess up then they will pass you up, and seem to average in the mid to high 1:20 range. Enough of me, on to the credits:

All billboards, 50% of the textures, all other models-TRI, MTMG, and myself.
25% of the textures-me (RobbyH14)
25% of the textures-Alpine I believe, if not I give credit where it's due.
Replica Fan's Garage-Replica Fan (be sure to ask him about his site, it's great!)
Terrain work, general track layout-me.

Anything else I missed is probably TRI or myself. Enjoy the track; I doubt I'll have the time or inclination to make another circuit, but I hope that the true circuit racers out there can enjoy this thing to the fullest. Thanks guys.
